T.Rex 329 Posted August 20, 2013 (edited) il carapils non lo vedo come necessario onestamente... volendo una birra con attenuazione molto alta come deve essere una america ipa oltre al malto base metterei solo del crystal ( 4-6% ) unica aggiunta che faccio ho letto ( onestamente non ricordo dove, credo qui in un thread di qualche tempo fa ) che per simulare l'effetto dell'american 2-row ( che è meno "saporito" di un MO ) una soluzione potrebbe essere fare come malto base metà MO e metà pils diverso se parliamo di una english ipa, dove la percentuale di crystal la vedrei anche un po' più alta ( oppure lasciata così ma con qualcos'altro come un bel 10% di monaco per dare caramellosità ) Edited August 20, 2013 by T.Rex 1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Se apprezzi molto le amarone comunque vai tranquillo Concordo. Quella che sto bevendo ora ha un rapporto di 0.87 e l'amaro si fa sentire. A me piace un sacco, perchè so che sto bevendo una Ipa... gli altri mi dicono che è troppo amara. Ti consiglio di nn superare 0.75 se vuoi presentarla a chi non conosce lo stile... T.Rex 329 Posted August 22, 2013 (edited) beh bu/gu lo si fa anche rapido a mano ^_* 53/62 da 0.85... il dubbio che mi viene e che dal software che usi hai preso le ibu previste da una scala, mentre lui per il BU/GU ne usa un altra comunque se ami le amare 0,85 ci può stare, il mio più che un consiglio alla ricetta era semplicemente un allert sul fatto che resterà molto amara ( almeno per i miei gusti :P ) aggiungo che il BU/GU non è un indicatore affidabilissimo di amaro percepito, perchè per valutare quello vanno considerati anche gli zuccheri residui ( che però su una ipa dovrebbe essere pochetti dato che dovrebbesti puntare ad una attenuazione sull'80% ) Edited August 22, 2013 by T.Rex Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
